The special recognition award honours outstanding contribution to the fashion industry. Over the course of her illustrious career, Neophitou-Apostolou has established herself as one of the most influential and respected creative forces in fashion. For 10 years, Neophitou-Apostolou was the collection creative director of Victoria Secret, and has designed her own collection of luxury travel essentials for Pringle of Scotland, Perfect 10. Neophitou-Apostolou has also been the chair of the BFC Press Committee for over a decade, BFC said in a press release.

“I am truly honoured to be receiving the special recognition award. I feel so fortunate to be doing what I love and am passionate about every single day and being part of a team that treasures our world as much as I do. I feel lucky to have worked so closely with the BFC for over 20 years and have been the head of the press committee for a decade. We have effected so much positive change in our industry and seen it grow and flourish. It has been a true privilege to be recognised at the Fashion Awards. I want to thank my amazing team at 10 who without them, none of this would be a reality and all the brilliant inspirational creatives in every corner of my world who’ve been with me on my journey and filled it with beauty and fantasy I could never have imagined possible, truly a dream every single day,” Neophitou-Apostolou said.

“We are thrilled to honour Sophia Neophitou-Apostolou with a special recognition award for her incredible contribution to fashion.
