United States-based Macy’s and Gap have jointly launched an exclusive collection of sleepwear, underwear and intimates for men and women. This collaboration marks the first of its kind between the two retail giants.
The sleepwear collection presents a broad array of products designed for ultimate comfort and style, available in sizes XS to XL. It includes everything from snug pyjama sets to soft loungewear. Adding an eco-friendly touch, select items incorporate organic stretch cotton and Gap’s signature breathable, jersey knit fabric, Breathe, the two companies said in a joint statement.
The underwear range covers a variety of essentials like bras, boxers, and undershirts, offering men and women the freedom to own their style. All pieces come in an assortment of exclusive designs and vibrant colours.
Rachel Leinwand, Macy's vice president of merchandising for active, basics, and outdoor, expressed her enthusiasm about the new offering, saying, "This collection is a great addition to our men’s and women’s basics assortments. It provides classic yet modern styling with quality fabrics and fit."
Adrienne Gernand, president of B2B and international commerce at Gap Inc, also spoke highly of the partnership. She stated, "This launch is an opportunity to amplify the Gap brand and deliver must-have essentials in comfortable, breathable fabrics to men and women across the US."
Centric Brands will manage the design, production, and distribution of the exclusive Gap and GapBody sleepwear and intimates collection at Macy's, with the collaboration being facilitated by Gap's licensing agency, IMG.
The collection is available at Macy’s official website and mobile app, and in select Macy's stores across the US.
