The University of Cambridge recently launched a free accelerator programme to fast-track technology innovation for a sustainable fashion industry. The university’s Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL) is inviting applications for its 'Virtual Accelerator' programme from early stage start-ups and entrepreneurs based in the United Kingdom.

Participants will explore the social and environmental challenges facing the fashion industry; learn from leading innovators driving change in the industry; build their pitch with insight on business planning, marketing and storytelling; hear from investors on the do’s and don’ts for accessing start-up funding; and build their network with other innovators in sustainable fashion, according to the university.
