In June this year, Style.com merged into Farfetch, while Farfetch and Condé Nast announced their global content and commerce partnership. The partnership brought together Condé Nast’s premium editorial content and Farfetch’s global e-commerce platform to create seamless editorial shopping experience.
As part of the partnership, Style.com discontinued its operations, and the site began redirecting to Farfetch.com.
“Farfetch is undoubtedly one of the most innovative companies in today’s retail landscape,” said Sewell.
Praising Farfetch founder José Neves, she added, “I have known José since the beginning - we are past collaborators, and it is an honour for me to become a full-time part of everything Farfetch is creating now and even more so, all that is to come.”
Founded in 2008, Farfetch was launched as an e-commerce marketplace for luxury boutiques around the world. Farfetch has since evolved into a platform for the luxury industry, connecting customers in over 190 countries with items from 700 of the world’s best boutiques and brands from over 40 countries.
