Swedish clothing company H&M opens 1st store in Ecuador

“Our H&M family continues to grow, and we are very happy with the unparalleled reception that our customers in Ecuador have given us. We are excited to finally open our doors and welcome all the people who love fashion and who will undoubtedly find their new favourite store in H&M,” Macu Alfaro, country sales manager Mexico, Colombia, and Ecuador, said in a press release.

Among the activities organised at the launch of Ecuador’s new H&M store include a traditional dance performed by the sales staff and a ribbon-cutting ceremony conducted by Carrlos Duarte, regional manager Americas; Macu Alfaro, country manager for Mexico, Colombia, and Ecuador; Ricardo Gueerrero, Ecuador project manager; Aia Radzyminska, Ecuador area manager, and Ariana Claramont and Ivan Guzman, store managers at H&M Quicentro shopping mall.

Ecuador will be H&M’s 80th market.
