Technology has revolutionised fashion design and production, believes Surabhi Chopra, the founder of the eponymous label, which she established in 2017. In a recent interview with Fibre2Fashion, she shared insights into how technology and traditional craftsmanship intersect in her work.

“From 3D design software to sustainable fabric innovations, technology allows us to be more efficient, reduce waste, and create customised experiences for customers. It is also integral in reaching a wider audience through e-commerce and social media platforms,” she told F2F.

The designer also lifted the curtain on her creative process, one that begins with comprehensive research and inspiration. “Colour palettes are chosen to evoke emotions and create visual stories. Fabrics are meticulously selected for their quality and suitability for the intended designs. Silhouettes are designed to be contemporary, ensuring that they complement the embroidery and enhance the overall aesthetic,” she said.
