The workshop titled 'Enhancing Global Competiveness of Fashion Industry - Brand Management Strategies for SMEs', was aimed at enhancing brand management capacities of the Thai companies in the fashion sector. The objective was also to provide opportunities for Thai manufacturers and exporters to gain access to the Korean and global markets and build network with Korean experts.

“I believe that Thailand has great prospects to be the fashion hub in Asia by developing its own brands,” ASEAN-Korea Centre secretary general Kim Young-sun said. “I hope this workshop will serve as a stepping stone for SMEs in the fashion industry of Thailand to further strengthen competitiveness, particularly in terms of branding, marketing and e-commerce strategies, thus gaining more access to the Korean market.”
