UK Frasers Group raises stake in N Brown from 19.36% to 20.02%

  • UK's Frasers Group, which has interests in retail, sport and intellectual property, has raised its stake in Manchester-based online retailer N Brown Group from 19.36 per cent to 20.02 per cent.
  • The firm, which became the single largest shareholder in the Boohoo Group last October, reinforced its position last week by raising its shareholding to 22 per cent.
The Frasers Group, which has interests in retail, sport and intellectual property, recently raised its stake in Manchester-based online retailer N Brown Group from 19.36 per cent to 20.02 per cent, according to filings on the London Stock Exchange.

N Brown owns brands like JD Williams, SimplyBe and Jacamo.

Last week, the Mike Ashley-owned British firm, which became the single largest shareholder in the Boohoo Group last October, reinforced its position by raising its shareholding to 22 per cent. It first purchased a 5 per cent stake in the apparel brand in June 2023.

The group has also raised its interest in Asos to 25.9 per cent.
