The Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) recently welcomed four new members to its board of directors: Virgil Abloh, Maria Cornejo, Kerby Jean-Raymond, and Carly Cushnie. Additionally, council chairman Tom Ford created an advisory board featuring experts in the fields of art, entertainment, media, and contemporary culture in general.

The new members join existing board members Tracy Reese (vice chairwoman), Vera Wang (secretary), Stan Herman (treasurer), Stacey Bendet, Dao-Yi Chow, Prabal Gurung, Tommy Hilfiger, Norma Kamali, Michael Kors, Reed Krakoff, Ralph Lauren, Ashley Olsen, Italo Zucchelli, and Diane von Furstenberg, the council said in a statement.
Serving on the advisory board to the chairman are John Demsey, Nina Garcia, Bethann Hardison, Bryan Lourd, Elizabeth Saltzman, Virginia Smith, Will Welch, and Daniella Vitale.
