The new collection includes a unisex jersey top that reimagines the classic football jersey under the Ambush nightlife-inspired aesthetic; a Nike x Ambush Air More Uptempo Low with a premium leather upper, boasting graffiti-inspired branding and a defiant style that translates flawlessly from sports stadium to night club. Additionally, the collection introduces a metallic-silver football, redefining the traditional ball silhouette with a striking colourway and durable design.
Ahn’s collection spans multiple realities - from the Ambush multiverse and global dance floors to sports arenas. It challenges traditional ideas of how sportswear is perceived and embraced, inspiring all, irrespective of gender and context, the company said in a media release.
The Nike x Ambush collection views the world of sports fandom through a broad, inclusive lens that speaks to her, him, and them. Ahn explained her vision behind the collection, emphasising the power of fashion as a medium for self-expression. “Fashion is an incredibly powerful form of self-expression — it can be used to express identity, beliefs, and personal style,” said Ahn.
The Nike x Ambush collection will be available for purchase starting August 4 on Ambush, SNKRS and at select Nike retail stores.
