Staff Reporter (RMG Times)  A team consisting of two delegates from Embassy of the Kingdom of Netherlands in Bangladesh visited Modele Group, Narayanganj based renowned ready made garment manufacturer & exporter, yesterday to witness the progress of Better Work Program being implemented by them.

Mr. Bas Blaauw, First Secretary of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Netherlands in Bangladesh and Mr. Joost Lina, Policy Officer, Sustainable Production and Trade- Ministry of Foreign Affairs represented the Embassy while from Better Work Bangladesh team Mr. Abu Yousuf, National Operations Manager; Mr. Syed Fazle Niaz, Team Leader; Ms. Ishrat Jahan, Enterprise Adviser, Mirza Sanam, Enterprise Adviser and Mr. Nazmul, Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) also accompanied them.

From the factory, Mr. Md. Masuduzzaman, Managing Director; Mr. Kanai Sarker, Group Director; Mr. Arup Saha, DGM- HR, Admin & Compliance; Mr. Al Amin, Manager- HR, Admin & Compliance greeted the team and directed them for a facility walkthrough to visualize the progress of the Better Work Program.

Mr. Masuduzzaman expressed his gratitude to the delegates for paying such a visit to Modele Group and informed them about what the factory has been doing to improve working conditions and respect the labour rights for workers.

Mr. Bas Blaauw and Mr. Joost Lina also thanked the factory for joining hands with Better Work Program to develop the workers life and ensure a standard living.
