New Balance athlete and star guard Zach Lavine has worked closely with the design team on the newest installation in the Fresh Foam BB franchise to create a shoe that truly stands out. Zach said, “This is my favorite performance shoe, hands down, and I am proud of the work I did with the design team. This is the only shoe I want to wear when I get back out on the court. We also have some fire PE’s coming this season that I can’t wait to showcase.” The Moon Beam colorway is inspired by Zach’s elegant and sophisticated off-court identity, adding a touch of personal style to the latest model of performance footwear.
The New Balance Fresh Foam BB v2 brings next-level comfort with dual density Fresh Foam midsole with a combination a firmer foam on the perimeter and a softer durometer foam directly underfoot. The New Balance design team spent a lot of time focusing on the underfoot sensation and the full-length Fresh Foam midsole provides a smooth heel to toe transition. The hexagonal outsole pattern provides elite level traction for those quick cuts to the hoop.
“We are thrilled to introduce the Fresh Foam BB v2, a performance basketball shoe that brings together innovative design with the rich heritage of New Balance craftsmanship,” says Trent Casper New Balance GM of basketball footwear. “This update offers a softer, yet responsive ride to keep the athlete fresh in the fourth. Blending heritage and modern design with rich materials and lightweight textiles provide the perfect balance of performance and style.”
The Fresh Foam BB v2 will launch with Moon Beam and Magnet colorways and additional colors launching throughout the season.
