Okoprofit is a training programme which helps companies to improve and implement their environmental management in the operations with its focus on reducing energy consumption, water consumption and improving material efficiency.
“We naturally feel that it is our duty to continue to develop our environmental management system in future in order to protect the environment and natural resources,” the company said.
The award ceremony was attended by 16 companies, local government and service providers in the transfer centre for appropriate technologies in Rheine. Saertex, by collaborating with these companies, has managed to reduce its own environmental efficiency and costs. (NA)
