Global Fashion Agenda (GFG), a non-profit leadership forum, has announced the appointment of Malou Wedel Bruunas, as new communications director. Bruunas will join the team on August 1, 2020, bringing with her extensive knowledge about sustainability and fashion. Bruunas joins GFG after having worked as editorial director at Elle Denmark for several years.

GFG stated that Bruunas is driven by positive storytelling, aesthetics and human community. For her sustainability is the only way forward, something that she has been agitating for many years through her former position.

At Global Fashion Agenda, Bruunas will reinforce the organisation’s position as a leading global authority on sustainability in fashion and ensure that its core message is reflected across all communications platforms and in media alongside the communications team.

“It is with great pride and joy that I take on the position as communications director at Global Fashion Agenda. For someone who loves fashion, I can’t think of a more meaningful job than joining the effort to push the fashion industry in an even more sustainable direction, Bruunas  said in a press relese.

Luckily most of the industry and consumers alike agree on this, in part due to the impressive achievements of CEO Eva Kruse and her cool team. I can’t wait to join them!”
