Kornit Digital, a leader in digital textile printing technology, has announced reseller partnerships with two suppliers for the Asian market: Tri Duc, serving Vietnam; and MayBeOne, serving South Korea. For 26 years, Tri Duc Trading & Services has provided Vietnam’s textile printing industry with hardware, software and support necessary to grow operations.

“Pigment-based printing is most popular among Vietnamese print show, and the business wanted to add Kornit Digital’s direct-to-garment (DTG) and direct-to-fabric (DTF) systems to its portfolio on the basis of Kornit’s single-step print process, eco-friendly chemistry, and reputation for delivering quality impressions with reliable technical support,” Dong Nguyen, managing director at Tri Duc, said in a press release.

“We are very pleased to have this opportunity to work with Kornit’s team, and really hope to provide our customers with better products and technologies tools to grow alongside global trends, and compete with other markets,” Nguyen said. “This technology provides the mid- to high-end mass market players and a responsibly sourced and produced operation for superior quality on demand.”

Founded in 1999, MayBeOne serves fashion brands such as Marpple and Dongkwang International, which provide decorated apparel on demand. Their Photomon business provides paper-based printed goods, but the company anticipates greater growth opportunities from textile decoration, with digital DTG providing a strong match for consumers demanding fast, efficient impressions in a variety of fabrics and quantities.

“Providing the Korean fashion industry with Kornit DTG capabilities will give those brands a “dominating” position among on-demand apparel providers in the e-commerce age,” Jeong Inki, sales director at MayBeOne, said in the release.

“The Korean textile industry will be changed entirely when they adopt digital print systems, and with our help, major brands and government associations will lead the way,” Inki said. “As our Fashion Insight publication tracks closely the dynamics of today’s fashion producers, we pride ourselves on understanding what drives the industry and adopting Kornit technology will keep our customers growing as the vanguard of a more efficient, sustainable, and agile fashion marketplace.”
