Mango, a Spanish fashion group, has announced that it is launching Active, a capsule collection of comfortable garments for practising various sporting disciplines related to physical and mental wellbeing, such as yoga, dance, meditation or pilates, among others. The brand is aligning itself with fitness wear, one of the most popular trends of the moment.

The Active collection features all types of sports garments, including leggings, shorts, tops, long-sleeve crop tops, bodies, sweatshirts and jumpsuits in different colours and designs. It also includes useful accessories for practising them, such as a yoga mat bag, money belts, sneakers, bags and socks.

Under the slogan the wellbeing community, from our home in the Mediterranean to the world, Mango presents a movement campaign which promotes the value of the community and the connections between its members, strengthening the bonds of togetherness by sharing and generating conversations between members, in order to improve their physical and mental wellbeing.

For this launch and during the coming months, there will be a series of live classes and talks on Mango's Instagram page, covering different disciplines and topics with a common theme: wellbeing.

Some of the world’s leading yoga and meditation studios are going to share their knowledge with the entire Mango community. From Madrid, Fernanda de La Puente, the founder of Asanagroove and an expert in Javamukti, will give a class combining dance and yoga. From New York, the founder of the Sky Ting studio, Chloe Keraghan, will give a yoga class. Finally, the founder of the Tihhy studio in Paris, Clotilde Chaumet, will give a class on Sound Bath, which combines meditation and relaxation through experimenting with musical sounds.

There will also be two live talks, both moderated by the Mango Girl Yasmin Sewell, an expert in meditation and relaxation techniques. From London, she will talk about meditation and similar activities with the emotional coach Samora, based in Los Angeles, and with Heather Illeston, from California, founder of the popular Yoga For Bad People studio, with whom she will talk about wellness for everybody.
