Turkish May textiles-clothing-footwear retail sales volume up 4.4% YoY

Sales volume in Turkiye’s trade fell by 3.8 per cent year on year (YoY) and by 3.4 per cent month on month (MoM) in May this year.

In the same month, wholesale trade sales volume decreased by 4.6 per cent YoY and by 5.1 per cent MoM, whereas retail trade sales volume increased by 5.8 per cent YoY and decreased by 0.2 per cent MoM, an official release from Turkish Statistical Institute said.

Retail sales volume of textiles, clothing and footwear increased by 4.4 per cent YoY and by 0.9 per cent MoM in the month.
