Woodland, a sportswear and footwear brand has set a target to grow online sales by 40 per cent within the next 3-4 years. Apart from its own ecommerce portal, the brand is also retailed at other online retailers like Flipkart, Amazon, Snapdeal, etc. Woodland also operates around 600 stores in various parts of India, apart from the ecommerce channel.
"Woodland is experiencing exponential growth in its online sales, and we expect it to grow 40 per cent in three to four years,” Harikirat Singh, managing director at Woodland was quoted as saying by a leading daily.Woodland, a sportswear and footwear brand has set a target to grow online sales by 40 per cent within the next 3-4 years. The brand is also planning to set up 50 more Woodland brand stores in the current year and also five Woods stores in various towns and cities.
Woodland also seeks to increase export volumes. Currently exports account for 20 per cent of sales, which it has targeted to increase to 50 per cent within the next few years.
Earlier this year, the brand had partnered with Chinese company Aokang International to enter the Chinese market. This partnership will enable Woodland to be available in around 5,000 stores in China in the near future. (AR)
