Hand will oversee Kohl's 1,100+ stores, stores operations and experience, loss prevention and store experience and design functions, according to a company press release.

Hand has a distinguished career in retail, with decades of store leadership and C-Suite experience, including more than 30 years leading the Stores organisations at national retailers including Burlington, Macy's and Filene's. Most recently, Hand was the chief executive officer of Tuesday Morning. Prior to that, he was the chief operating officer at Burlington, where he led the Stores organisation for more than 13 years. Prior to Burlington, Hand held senior leadership positions in stores and visual merchandising at May Department Stores (then Macy's) and Filene's.
