The consumer price index (CPI) in China, a primary gauge of inflation, increased by 0.3 per cent year on year (YoY) in April this year, according to data from the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS).It rose by 0.1 per cent in the month on a monthly basis, reversing the 1-per cent drop from the previous month.
