The consumer market in China saw faster growth in October this year. Retail sales of consumer goods rose by 4.8 per cent year on year (YoY) in the month, quickening from the 3.2-per cent increase in September, the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) said.In the first 10 months this year, such sales expanded by 3.5 per cent YoY—0.2 percentage points higher than the January-September period.
