Poland’s retail sales at constant prices in August this year were 2.6 per cent higher year on year (YoY) against a YoY decrease of 2.7 per cent in the same month last year. The figure rose by 1.1 per cent month on month (MoM) in the month, according to Statistics Poland.Between January and August this year, sales increased YoY by 3.7 per cent YoY compared to a decrease of 4.2 per cent YoY in the corresponding period last year.
Online retail sales grew by 0.7 per cent YoY in August. The share of online sales in total sales decreased in August to 8 per cent compared with 8.2 per cent in the same month last year.
