Spain’s general retail trade index (RTI) at constant prices rose by 4.1 per cent year on year (YoY) in September this year in the seasonal- and calendar-adjusted series, according to the Spanish National Statistics Institute (INE). This rate was 1.7 percentage points higher than the one registered in August.The monthly variation in retail sales at constant prices was 1 per cent in the month after seasonal and calendar adjustment. This rate was six tenths higher than the previous month.
