Turkiye’s trade sales volume increased by 5.3 per cent year on year (YoY) and 2.9 per cent month on month (MoM) in August this year.Wholesale trade sales volume increased by 3.1 per cent YoY and 3.5 per cent MoM, while retail trade sales volume increased by 13.3 per cent YoY and 2.2 per cent MoM in the month, according to Turkish Statistical Institute (Turkstat).
Retail sales volume of textile, clothing and footwear dropped by 0.9 per cent YoY and increased by 0.8 per cent MoM in August.
