Now in bankruptcy proceedings, Dallas-based department store chain Neiman Marcus recently said in a court filing that it is vacating the glitzy Hudson Yards shopping mall on Manhattan’s West Side in New York. It is also closing two stores in Florida—Fort Lauderdale and Palm Beach —and one in Bellevue, Washington. It filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection on May 7.

“A physical location in Hudson Yards is no longer an ideal space for us given the preponderance of restaurants and future office space in that mall,” he added.
