The enzyme technology is expected to help make the textile industry more sustainable, the Danish Embassy in Dhaka said in a statement.

Besides, viscose, modal and lyocell are made from fibres widely recognised as more sustainable than conventional cotton, which requires high levels of water and pesticides to produce.
