The company's main focus for the show will be 3D simulation in Vidya. It enables the visualization and simulation of collections, with correct body dimension data, original CAD designs and real material parameters. This data can be used throughout the entire fashion process chain.
“The Asian region is becoming increasingly important for the apparel industry. So it's exciting for us to get first-hand experience of how the industry's currently developing in Japan and to introduce our solutions”, said Andreas Seidl, Managing Director of Human Solutions GmbH.
Vidya simulates persons with real data on the measurements, volume and movement behaviour of their bodies. Just like in real life, the simulated 3D garment consists of the sewn 2D CAD pattern pieces. Vidya uses real material parameters to display the natural stretch behaviour and structure of a fabric, for instance.
Human, pattern and material interact perfectly for the simulation and the same body measurements/sizetables are used in CAD and for the creation of avatars. Drape, elasticity and structure correspond to natural movement behaviour.
The company's products will be showcased at the German Engineering Federation (VDMA) Booth (no. 407) in Hall 4. (HO)
