  • Inexmoda and Messe Frankfurt announce the second edition of Heimtextil Colombia, set for April 8-10, 2025, in Medellín.
  • Building on the success of the first edition, the event will showcase home textiles, interior design, and decoration, featuring international exhibitors and buyers, promoting innovation, sustainability, and Colombian creativity.

Following the successful first edition of Heimtextil Colombia, Inexmoda, in partnership with Messe Frankfurt Exhibitions GmbH, announces the second edition of Heimtextil Colombia the trade fair for home textiles, decoration, and interior design, which will take place from April 8 to 10, 2025, at the Plaza Mayor Convention Center in Medellín. The event will continue to establish the city as the epicenter for this industry segment in Latin America.

The first edition in April 2024 attracted over 4,500 specialised visitors who connected with 1,200 national and international buyers; and 118 exhibitors from 15 countries.

Inexmoda committed to internationalisation, will present the second edition of Heimtextil Colombia. This strategy to strengthen brands within the Colombian fashion system stems from a deep understanding of the global market, which highlights Colombia as a powerhouse in creating value-added brands, offering a competitive edge for local design. Thus, Latin American creativity and talent become the spearhead to showcase the country’s fashion signature.

“It is a great honor for Inexmoda to announce the second edition of Heimtextil Colombia, as its first edition exceeded all expectations. With 118 exhibitors, 60% of whom were international and 40% national, the fair showcased a wide range of home textiles, furniture, decorative products, and sensory experiences. Countries like India, Singapore, Pakistan, China, Brazil, Italy, Spain, and Turkey stood out for their participation, while Colombian brands from Bogotá, Medellín, Cali, and Barranquilla inspired visitors with their distinctive signature designs”, said Sebastián Díez, executive president of Inexmoda.

Heimtextil Colombia enabled cultural and commercial connections for 1,200 buyers from the Americas, Europe, and Asia, highlighting the competitive opportunities of the national industry. The event featured innovative spaces such as 'Creative Colombia' and 'Kitchen by Heimtextil,' which showcased national creativity and identity through design proposals for various home spaces and gastronomic experiences integrated with home textiles.

For the second edition, expectations are to surpass the 2024 indicators while maintaining the essence of innovation, sustainability, and creativity that characterize Heimtextil Colombia. The fair will continue to be a key platform for knowledge exchange, commercial networking, and promoting Colombian brands internationally.

With this commitment to internationalisation, Inexmoda and Heimtextil Colombia 2025 will promote the country and region's image, highlighting their global capabilities, talent, creativity, identity, and inspiration within the Colombian home textile and interior designing sector. The second edition will take place at Plaza Mayor from April 8 to 10, 2025, in the city of Medellín.
