With more than 3000 prospective clients, evincing ‘more than mere interest’ in its state-of-the-art products, Marzoli, a global leader in textile manufacturing equipment, is upbeat after the recently concluded International Textile Machinery exhibition at Milan in Italy.
“Marzoli machines set the lead in spinning technology, all our clients have recognized that; but the great affluence to Marzoli’s stand has also been fostered by the great deal of innovation that we have leveraged in the last four years,” the company said in a press release. With more than 3000 prospective clients, evincing 'more than mere interest' in its state-of-the-art products, Marzoli, a global leader in textile #
The company showcased a wide range of machinery and equipment at ITMA Milan 2015 including the Marzoli patented Integrated Bobbin Cleaner (IBC), Marzoli C701 card, Marzoli CM7 LP Comber, Marzoli roving frame and Marzoli Remote Maintenance (the MRM), an innovative maintenance platform that continuously monitors data of critical components to track the health of installed machinery.
The IBC was a big draw at ITMA. This device cleans the dirty tubes before changing them with full bobbins. The superiority over other devices is that there is no need of a separate cleaner, there are fewer chain stops and less chain downtime for a regular supply of full bobbins to the spinning frames.
In traditional transport systems the chain stops for two reasons: because there is a dirty tube in front of the cleaner or because there is an empty tube in front of the exchanger. With the new IBC the chain stops only for one reason, because there is an empty tube in front of the exchanger, and if the tube is dirty then the IBC cleans it. It also boasts of less energy consumption and less stress on the chain components, the release said.
The Marzoli Remote Maintenance (MRM) is an innovative platform that draws on the data gathered by processors and additional sensors installed in critical parts of the machines to continuously monitor the state of health of the machinery.
The data regarding temperatures, power consumption and vibrations are sent to an IoT platform, provided by Microsoft, where they are analyzed through special algorithms developed by Marzoli. These algorithms verify that the monitored parameters are inside the machine nominal operating ranges according to the machine working parameters and room condition: if they are not, the client is immediately alerted. This guarantees several advantages: prevention of machine failures, longer running life of the machine components, more effective maintenance of the mill.
The Marzoli roving frame can accommodate up to 224 spindles. It has a multi-motor drive for the flyers to reduce energy consumption and individual sensors, one for each spinning position, to always guarantee the immediate stop of the machine in case of roving breakage.
