The Czech Republic subsidiary of German knitting machine manufacturer Mayer & Cie inaugurated its new 5,000 sq. feet factory building last week and the new building is half as large as the old factory premises. In 2013, only two years after the takeover, one in four Mayer machine, was assembled at the Czech plant, which is certified for DIN ISO standards.

Over the years, the buyout decision proved right as although initially, only individual assembly groups were transferred to the new production site, they were joined in 2012 by the first knitting machines. (AR)
