The Indian states of Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Haryana, Punjab, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, Assam, Sikkim and Tripura, and the union territories (UTs) of Chandigarh and Delhi have been ranked achievers in the ‘Logistics Ease Across Different State (LEADS) 2023’ report released yesterday by commerce and industry minister Piyush Goyal.This is the 5th edition of the LEADS annual exercise.

The report was released yesterday by commerce and industry minister Piyush Goyal.
Kerala, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, and the UTs of Andaman & Nicobar, Lakshadweep and Puducherry have been ranked ’fast movers’.
Goa, Odisha, West Bengal, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram and the UTs of Daman & Diu/Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh have been put in the ‘aspirers’ category, an official release said.
LEADS was conceived on the lines of Logistics Performance Index of World Bank in 2018 and has evolved over time.
