AATCC, the American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists, has announced the programme for the 2018 International Conference (IC), to be held from March 6 to 8, 2018, in USA. The event will feature a keynote presentation, educational tracks, a poster session, networking receptions, and the Awards Luncheon for AATCC’s most prestigious awards.

Three concurrent educational tracks will reflect the Association’s three interest groups. Sessions in the Concept 2 Consumer (C2C) track will focus on colour management and lighting trends for the evolving retail landscape, speed to market, sustainability throughout the supply chain, and textile testing. The Chemical Applications track will address advances in coloration and chemistry, technologies to achieve comfort, odour control and antimicrobial, and the Herman and Myrtle Goldstein Student Paper Competition.
Presentations in the Materials track will include advances in fibres and fabrics, flexible wearable technology, medical textiles, and comfort and performance clothing needs and assessments.
Tabletop exhibits and sponsorship offerings will be available to promote a company’s presence at the conference. (GK)
