Arvind Limited, one of the largest textile companies in India, has reported 19 per cent decline in its revenue to ₹1,514 crore during third quarter (Q3) FY21 that ended on December 31, 2020, compared to the revenue of ₹1,869 crore in same period prior fiscal. For the reported quarter, company’s net profit was ₹25 crore (Q3 FY20: ₹36 crore).

EBIDTA for Q3 FY21 fell 13 per cent to ₹162 crore (₹185 crore). Profit before tax was ₹48 crore (₹64 crore). Revenue of textiles segment was ₹1,219 crore (₹1,558 crore) while advance material’s revenue grew marginally to ₹188 crore (₹184 crore).

Denim volumes recovered 88 per cent compared to Q3 FY20, whereas, woven volumes recovered 77 per cent and garment volumes stood at 89 per cent, as company reported in a release.
