The Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Greater New York Chamber of Commerce and Industry to facilitate mainstream trade and investment between both the countries. FBCCI president Mohammad Jashim Uddin urged US firms to source other products from Bangladesh apart from garments.The signing ceremony took place at a seminar titled ‘25th September: Bangabandhu's Vision and Bangladeshi Immigrant Day’ in New York on September 25.
Jashim Uddin and the US chamber president Mark Jeff signed the MoU, according to a news agency report.
