The fibres by Birla Cellulose are fully biodegradable as they come from nature and return to nature, with the raw material being a natural renewable resource.
Aditya Biyani from the Group said, "We are happy to see the trade buoyancy in home textiles in HGH 2017. The visitors showed interest in knowing about new age products, ecological heritage and international trends. Our viscose, modal and excel fibres provide a sustainable solution with multiple functional benefits."
"Our 200 TC cotton-modal bedlinen gives a feeling of 300-400 TC. Similarly, our 300 TC 100 per cent modal quilt has been a hit for its luxurious hand feel and its skin-friendliness," said Naresh Kakar from the home textiles category of Birla Cellulose.
Birla Cellulose represents the Pulp and Fibre business of the Aditya Birla Group and is India's pioneer in viscose staple fibre (VSF). Birla Cellulose fibres are of 100 per cent natural origin, highly absorbent, have an especially good feel, and are completely biodegradable. As an extremely versatile and easily bendable fibre, VSF is widely used in apparels, home textiles, dress material, knitted wear and non-woven applications. (KD)
