The companies granted the certificates are Taral International Co Ltd, Super Knitting (Cambodia) Co Ltd, SSCA Garment Co Ltd, Foton Packaging Product Co Ltd, and United Creation Optical (Cambodia) Company Limited, the CDC said in a Facebook post.
Taral International Co Ltd is slated to invest approximately $26.6 million in a garment tailor factory situated in Kong Pisey district, Kampong Speu province. This venture is expected to generate 6,736 jobs.
Super Knitting (Cambodia) Co Ltd has unveiled plans to establish a factory for socks, gloves, knitted shirts, and clothes in Bati district, Takeo province. With an estimated investment of $6.6 million, the factory is projected to create 3,007 jobs.
SSCA Garment Co Ltd proposes to invest $6.2 million in a sewing factory in Koh Thom district, Kandal province. This endeavour is expected to result in 1,141 job opportunities.
Foton Packaging Product Co Ltd plans to launch a factory producing bags, handbags, and clothing accessories in Phum Tabor, Pich Sar Commune, Koh Ondet District, Takeo Province. With an investment of $6.1 million, the firm aims to generate 1,331 jobs.
