IFabric has announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary company, Intelligent Fabric Technologies North America (IFTNA), has received a United States Environmental Agency (EPA) registration for its new metal-free anti-microbial technology, bioTX. IFabric, based in Canada, specialises in socially responsible textile technologies and patented fashion solutions.
“BioTX, represents the culmination of a lengthy period of development and testing of a metal-free anti-microbial and is a worthy addition to the company’s class leading portfolio of anti-microbial, anti-bacterial, anti-viral and odour control solutions. We are constantly looking for ways to add to or improve upon our current line of products. Our testing has shown that bioTX is a highly effective anti-bacterial and is particularly suitable for use in performance apparel. With this addition, we have expanded our product range and support for our customers, in order to allow them to elevate and differentiate their products in the marketplace,” Giancarlo Beevis, president and CEO of IFTNA said in a press release.
