The China-Europe freight train services have seen a notable increase in the first four months of 2024, according to a recent update from the China State Railway Group Co, Ltd (China Railway). The number of trips made by these freight trains rose by 10 per cent year-on-year, totalling 6,184 journeys.During the same period, the freight trains transported approximately 675,000 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEU) of goods, marking an 11 per cent increase from the previous year.
