Power consumed by primary, secondary and tertiary industries rose by 4.6 per cent, 4 per cent and 11.2 per cent YoY respectively.
The country’s residential power use last month surged by 23.7 per cent YoY, hitting 191.8 billion kWh.
In the first eight months this year, power consumption increased by 7.9 per cent YoY to surpass 6.56 trillion kWh, a state-controlled media outlet reported.
