The imports from the second and third largest suppliers were less than ten per cent combined. Imports from Taiwan were valued at $85.141 million, and from Malaysia at $41.964 million, with their respective shares being 6 per cent and 2.96 per cent, according to Fibre2Fashion's market insight tool TexPro.

In 2019, China’s share of Cambodia's knitted fabric imports was 68.09 per cent, with imports from China recorded at $1,593.302 million out of a total of $2,339.878 million. Hong Kong and Taiwan were the second and third largest suppliers, with a combined share of 20.50 per cent.In 2020, Cambodia's total knitted fabric imports decreased to $2,013.816 million. However, China's share slightly increased to 68.78 per cent, with imports from China noted at $1,385.173 million. Hong Kong fell to the third position with a share of 9.32 per cent. The combined share of Taiwan and Hong Kong was around 19 per cent, according to TexPro.

Following the pandemic, China's share increased to 74.33 per cent in 2021, when Cambodia imported knitted fabric worth $2,040.632 million from China. The combined share of Taiwan and Hong Kong fell to just over 15 per cent of Cambodia’s total knitted fabric imports of $2,745.545 million that year. China's share further increased to 78.35 per cent in 2022 and 80.95 per cent in 2023. During these years, imports from China were recorded at $2,017.135 million and $1,793.927 million, respectively.

Cambodia's total knitted fabric imports were $2,574.436 million in 2022 and $2,216.048 million in 2023. The combined share of Taiwan and Hong Kong reduced to 13 per cent in 2022, and the combined share of Taiwan and Malaysia further declined to 10 per cent in 2023. Hong Kong slipped to sixth position with a share of 2 per cent in the same year.
