The environmental impact of the textile industry has increasingly been a topic of concern, leading to growing calls for a quicker and broader adoption of sustainability practices. The webinar will feature industry pioneers, top sustainability practitioners, textile manufacturers, and sustainability innovators, all offering hands-on insights and solutions for sustainability in action.
The webinar series will cover a range of crucial topics, including sustainable energy, efficient water use, reduction of toxic chemical usage, sustainability standards in textiles, and other areas of sustainability impact. The primary goal is to equip businesses, particularly medium, small and micro enterprises (MSMEs) in the textile industry, with actionable insights to adopt sustainable practices.
Speakers include Vanita Prasad founder, director & CTO of Revy Environmental Solutions; Ganesh Shankar, cofounder & CEO of FluxGen Tech; Anjani Prasad, managing director and vice president (South Asia) of Archroma; Prasad Pant, South Asia director and competence centres director of ZDHC Foundation; Dhwani Sunku, head of business development—growth and partnerships at U-Solar; and Abhishek Jani, chief executive officer of Fairtrade India Project.

Working across the textiles value chain, from farm to factory, Fairtrade India promotes the adoption of sustainability practices and the sourcing of sustainable Fairtrade Certified raw material.
CSM is a non-profit organisation working to create a more environmentally, socially, and economically sustainable society. It’s main areas of focus include promoting sustainable agriculture, climate action, and responsible business practices. CSM is undertaking several programmes to promote Sustainability in food and textiles sector in India. Working through Fairtrade Certification, on-ground Programmatic approach and Sustainable Market linkages CSM is working to facilitate sustainability in the textiles sector in India.
