On the side-lines of the conclave, leaders of as many as 35 leading national and regional associations related to textiles industry will participate in the Textile Interactive Meet with central and state minister as well as government bureaucrats. Darshana Jardosh, Union minister of state for textiles; Jagdish Vishwakarma, minister of industries, government of Gujarat; Roop Rashi Mahapatra IA&AS, textile commissioner, government of India; and Dr Rahul Gupta IAS, industries commissioner, government of Gujarat have given their consent to be a part of the Textile Interactive Meet and the inaugural session of Textile Leadership Conclave, GCCI said in a media release.
The purpose of Textile Interactive Meet is to establish a meaningful dialogue between Textile dignitaries from the government and industry to discuss on current affairs, FTA and growth plan for textile industry among other things and to suggest and find productive solutions for further growth of textiles.
On the other hand, Textile Leadership Conclave will see titans of the textile industry share their success stories. As 700 participants from across the verticals such as ginning, spinning, weaving, process house, garment manufacturers, technical textile and machinery manufacturers from across the country are likely to join the conclave.
The entire event will take place at Shree Shakti Convention Centre, near Vaishnodevi Circle, Ahmedabad. The event will also be live on virtual platforms of Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
