Instituted in 2006, organisational performance is evaluated by a team of Dun and Bradstreet analysts, who identify relevant financial parameters in each category. These parameters are used to determine the top performers in each group. Winners are then chosen based on a composite score, taking into account several quantitative factors.
Grasim has bagged the award in the textile category at an awards ceremony held in Mumbai which was attended by over 200 CFO/CXOs, dignitaries from the Government of India, Fortune 500 Companies, banks, and financial institutions. Dr Krishnamurthy Subramanian, chief economic advisor, government of India, was one of the speakers and the chief guest of the event. (RR)
