Indian minister for road transport and highways and micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) Nitin Gadkari recently said the goods and services tax (GST) will help achieve the vision of a $5-trillion economy by 2025. Addressing a webinar on July 1, the fourth anniversary of GST implementation, he said GST is founded on the notion of ‘one nation, one market, one tax’.
