"Complete Cotton is a showcase event for the ICA. During the 10 years that it has been running we have worked with hundreds of cotton professionals from every continent. We have helped our delegates both with developing a network of contacts that will last a lifetime and improving their knowledge and understanding of this important global commodity. We look forward to welcoming the class of 2019," said Bill Kingdon, managing director.
The training is open to individuals of all ages from within the cotton trade – including producers, ginners, exporters, merchants, agents, importers, spinners and allied trades.
"Complete Cotton is the perfect way to get a thorough understanding of the entire cotton supply chain — from production to logistics to trading, all the way to spinning — in a very short amount of time. It would take years to learn all of the things that a person can learn in less than two weeks with this course. It’s also a lot of fun and gives students a good understanding of the history of the global cotton industry, much of which took place right there in Liverpool. Finally, it gave me a new set of friends and colleagues I would never have met without Complete Cotton. Many of those people remain close friends and trusted business partners to this day," Mike McCue, director of communications, ICAC. (RR)
