Receiving awards from two renowned associations for the same product itself exhibits the innovation features of the product, MAG Solvics said in a press release.
The new HVT Genius 2 comes with a range of unique features designed to set it apart in the market. It boasts a tower-type construction for optimal space utilisation and includes fully automatic comb preparation, featuring a RotoSampler that tests both length and strength. The Micronaire module is automated for fineness measurement, allowing for a more streamlined process. Additionally, it can test colour, surface trash, and moisture all in a single operation, making it highly efficient.
The device incorporates an industrial-grade balance and offers a touch screen display. Furthermore, it seamlessly integrates wirelessly with printers. It also has an inbuilt Relative Humidity (RH) percentage and temperature sensor for more accurate testing conditions. An inbuilt air booster and reservoir ensure uninterrupted testing, and the device is capable of performing a greater number of tests in a given time frame.
“I thank TMMA and ITAMMA for recognising the valued innovation done by our R&D and motivating our team to do more innovations in the coming days,” said C Dhandayuthapani, managing director of MAG.
Further he explained that in a single tester one can evaluate all the cotton quality parameters such as length parameters (either in HVI or ICC mode), strength and elongation, Micronaire and maturity, colour parameters and colour grade, trash parameters and trash grade, and moisture content.
It is also possible to attach MAG’s Fully Automatic Trash Separator - AccuTrash with the HVT Genius 2 instrument, which further adds possibility to test real gravimetric trash content of cotton, which results in complete and comprehensive evaluation and passing of cotton lots by spinning mills in a much more reliable and faster way.
