Indian textile firm Welspun Living has reported a total revenue of ₹98.251 billion (approximately $1.17 billion) in fiscal 2024 (FY24), marking a 19.6 per cent increase. The textile business, a key driver of this growth, reported an 18.7 per cent rise in revenue to ₹90.63 billion. The annual EBITDA was also impressive, reaching ₹15.147 billion at a margin of 15.4 per cent, which represents a substantial growth of 73.3 per cent over the year. The textile sector contributed significantly with an EBITDA of ₹13.827 billion, growing by 73.2 per cent.

Profit after tax (PAT) for the year was notably high at ₹6.811 billion, more than tripling from the previous year, and the earnings per share (EPS) surged to ₹7.06 from ₹2.02, the company said in a press release.

In the fourth quarter of fiscal 2024 (Q4 FY24), Welspun Living continued its strong performance, recording a revenue of ₹26.167 billion, a 19.2 per cent increase YoY. The Q4 revenue for the textile business grew by 20.1 per cent to ₹24.217 billion. The consolidated EBITDA for the quarter grew by 25 per cent to ₹4.001 million, achieving a margin of 15.3 per cent.

The Q4 EBITDA for the textile business was ₹3.640 billion, up 24.2 per cent YoY. The company’s profitability remained robust in the quarter, with consolidated PAT increasing by 16.4 per cent to ₹1.460 billion, and earnings per share rising to ₹1.52 from ₹1.28 in the same quarter of the previous year.
