Invista unveiled its latest fabric technology advancements in its Cordura brand at the 2016 Winter Outdoor Retailer Show in Salt Lake City.

“Cordura fabric calls for innovation, power, and durability, and these three ingredients have allowed our brand to pay homage to our heritage while finding the inspiration to pioneer our future,” she added.
According to Invista, the 2016 ISPO Textrends jury recently recognised 32 fabrics referencing Cordura brand as top-trending fabrics for the fall and winter outdoor markets of 2017-2018.
“Five of the awarded fabrics featuring the brand’s technology were ISPO’s Top Ten Winners and will also be featured at the OR booth,” the company informed.
The brand’s building of durable bonds propels further with the latest installment to its Meet the Maker Series.
Dana Gleason, co-owner of Mystery Ranch, gives insight on their use of Cordura fabric, providing assurance and reinforcement to the outdoor explorer, hunter, and warrior alike.
Cordura fabric and Mystery Ranch will also celebrate their long-standing relationship and the launch of the new series at the Cordura x Mystery Ranch ‘Meet the Maker’ booth party.
The Cordura booth will further showcase new product adoptions including the latest from Icebreaker’s IKA Collection featuring Cordura Combat Wool and new bag and pack styles from Timbuk2, Mountainsmith, etc.
Cordura fabric has chosen to take its classic Cordura Denim fabric, and heat it up a notch with solutions that enhance the durability experience.
The Cordura Denim Alchemy collection features Cordura Denim for S/S17 with high tenacity nylon 6,6 remaining at its core combined with new exotic blends of polypropylene, viscose, and elastomerics.
“The Cordura Denim Alchemy Collection presents outdoor enthusiasts with lightweight performance denims, offering high stretch, quick-dry and temperature regulation capabilities,” the company stated.
“The fabrics combine the legendary durability of Cordura fibre technology, softness of lyocell fibre as well as moisture management, thermal regulation, and innovative stretch functionality,” Invista informed.
The Cordura Fabric Reinforcement Collection takes rugged adventure to new heights, offering enhanced wearer protection.
Featuring flex, UV-fade resistance, moisture-wicking and non-slip properties in its woven constructions, the Reinforcement Fabric Collection offers a menu of abrasion resistant layers. (AR)
