Despite competition from China, India, Korea and Taiwan, the Italian Government does not extend the level of support to small and medium enterprises for global presence as witnessed in the competitor nations, according to Marco Crosta, owner of Italian company Mario Crosta, a worldwide leader in design and production of machinery and plants for dry finishing.
The company’s USP is maintaining top quality using latest technology, expertise and automation and it produces all its machines in its two factories in Busto Arsizio, close to Milan. “Our suppliers too are Italian and we don't buy a single piece from the international market,” Crosta told Fibre2Fashion in an interview.
