The group’s exhibits clearly addressed these themes, showcasing how sustainable and biodegradable yarns can be efficiently utilised, and turned into attractive products on their machines. Jakob Muller’s narrow fabric weaving and label weaving machines are pre-configured for network integration and come equipped with the MLC machine control system and MUDATA M-series control platform, the company said in a press release.
The electronically controlled Jacquard needle weaving loom NFMJ 53 4/66, for instance, is designed for elastic tape production for undergarments. The narrow fabric loom NFM 53 2/130, a high-performance device, is equipped with two independent MUTRANS thread transport systems, allowing the simultaneous processing of different weft materials and production of varying tape widths.
The company’s MD 2/130, a narrow fabric loom designed for the production of medium-heavy webbing, was demonstrated at the CREALET AG booth in Hall 6. Another offering was the advanced label weaving system MUGRIP MBJ8v 1/1380, designed for creating labels with photo quality designs, fashionable tapes, ribbons, and lanyards with slit selvedges.
The high-performance narrow fabric loom NFMJ 80 8/42 768 MC, designed for producing labels, name tapes, and decorative ribbons with woven edges, boasts significant advancements over its predecessors. Key innovations include the direct weft needle drive, an enlarged weft thread triangle, and improved infeed mechanisms for the warp, weft, and binder threads, significantly reducing thread breakages and setup times.
In the narrow knitting segment, the RR warp knitting loom DNBF/EL-800, designed by Comez International, a member of the Jakob Muller Group, is suited for the production of technical and high-performance products. The product demonstrated at the show was a knitted tape used in sportswear.
Lastly, the finishing segment showcased the MFR 2C, a combined fixation system for dyeing machines designed for finishing light to medium-heavy, elastic and non-elastic tapes. The system can be optionally equipped with a heat recovery unit for increased energy efficiency, added the release.
The Jakob Muller Group had displayed its market-responsive, innovative machinery at Hall 6, Booth A 102 a-d at ITMA 2023 from June 8–14, 2023.
